I’ve been keeping a close eye on my household. I think the ladder is up to something. The mattresses are doing undercover work. The chimney is acting all high and mighty. I think the garden has some dirt on me. The rocking chair keeps moving behind my back, and even the washing machine is agitating. The soap dish is quite a slippery fellow. The sneaky gas pump
So I pull into the Valero near my house, where gas is $1.889 a gallon:
And then I see this sign on the pump:
“DISCOUNT FOR CASH PAYMENT,” eh? How much of a discount? I insert my credit card.
$1.959 a gallon. Sneaky.
Also: cleaned out everything that was here. It was old anyway.
